Why we chose it
Remote work and cloud dissolved the network boundary that perimeter security relied on. Zscaler built, early, a distributed platform that applies control as close to the user as possible rather than hauling traffic back to head office. Its Zero Trust private access removes the main weakness of the VPN: handing an internal network address to an endpoint you know nothing about.
What we operate
Scoping, flow inventory, migration population by population, and operations. We also feed the access logs into the SIEM: SASE is a detection source, not only a filter.
Our assessment, without varnish
Two points are consistently underestimated. TLS inspection breaks badly built applications and raises legitimate questions about employee privacy — that belongs in the scoping, with staff representatives. And routing all traffic through a third party creates a dependency whose effect you should measure before the day that third party is unavailable.
